StarLyX is developped by PhotonLyX® (www.photonlyx.com)
Monte-Carlo engine dedicated to volume scattering of light.

-> simulate optical instruments
For pure image rendering the calculation is parallelized in all CPU cores.
The scene is defined in a unique XML file. The geometrical surfaces are stored in OBJ files. The volumes are defined by one or several surfaces.
Source and optical properties may be spectral (discrete spectra).
